Ages

I know we have probably had this topic before but im curious how old people on this site are.

I'm 21, is that old for this site, i'm just kinda bored. I'm waiting for my new laptop to run gp4 properly so I have no games, plus it looks like the company i work for is going bust so might be on here a lot more often lol.

People still play GP4?

24 here, 18 when I joined. Back then the youngest was 11 almost 12 years old, there was a 12 year old who got frightened of due to the rudeness of some older people flaming him - very sad.

21 should be just average now, this forum got so many new and young users, now we have modders who started releasing stuff when they were 13, it's absurd!

I'm just 13, though I really haven't played GP4 for a year now - it's still a great community though.
I'm not up to modding just yet - I make my own private CSM mods and such, but no releases

Well, I'm 20 myself, but.

I'd say Gui is right, among the old gaurd if you will. As in the people that frequent here but no longer play GP4 (Such as people in the OT, Other Games, F1 forums are alot of those characters). The average age of frequent GP4 forum users is probably a little bit lower than the others for that reason.


The Flanker is gone.

I'd say you're not old for this site at all. Most of the users seem to be between 12/13/14 and 30 years old, so you're kind of in the middle.

im 15, joined at 13... I remember when I joined there was something like 11000 users... now in 2 years we are 19000..., 8000 persons joined in the last 2 years.

Hehe, we're mushrooming! Nice accurate maths calculations Frantic. It's just gone 2AM where I am so I'm pretty tired and I haven't got a calculator on me anyway, so I'll just guess using the facts I know.

My EC83 account is #25186, and I signed up in October 2007. By the time I registered my Senna account in May this year there were over 35000 accounts. So we must have nearly 40000 accounts here now. Which would imply we have well over 30000 users, past and present.

From 2003 to now we went from a couple of hundred accounts to over 40,000. I think the first forum spike was in 2005 and then another leapfrog in 2006 and even more so 2007.

I was born before the set date for "Back To The Future" ... um, before all the time travelling and stuff.
