You'll struggle to find a 20" at this price point. Laptops can have a higher resolution on a smaller screen as you're almost always closer to the screen when you're using them than you would be with a similarly sized monitor.

Can't agree on the Vista bit you posted though. Systems like these are made for Vista (and W7), and XP is sluggish and unresponsive in comparison. Dual-boot is the way to go if you expect to have compatibility issues (which certainly do exist on poorly written software), so if that's an option, it's very much worth considering.

Did i contradict to your advice?
Answer: NO.
So if say about a true psu that doesnt mean i disagree with you.
Do we understand each other?

Also i think other users can give an opinion, or you have the exclusivity
on computer related subjects in this forum? Yes i know you helped a lot
around in this subject, but i think others can give advice too and it doesnt
mean your advice is more valid than any other, just the user that gets the
advice chooses the advices given from the posts written trying to help him.

Shall we go over it again?

You stated "What im worried is about the PSU choice, 450w seems really low for all the system. Try to get something better".

The only person who had mentioned or specced a 450W PSU was my own recommendation with the FSP.

So yes, you did contradict me.

I'm constantly PMd be members asking for this recommendation or that recommendation, and I ALWAYS PM back asking them to post in the General Discussion forum so others can have an opinion, as something I feel is worth recommending, someone else might have had a bad experience with, or visa-versa. Not very exclusive, is it?

Gav@ keep the exclusivity of all "public" computer related topics to yourself.
And i didnt disagree with you.

Good bye.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, whether you actually like it or agree with it is another thing altogether. This is a public forum, so you can expect people to disagree with your point of view or on occasion make a backhanded comment. If you are not thick skinned enough to accept it and see it for what it is it really isn't anyone's problem but your own. To continue the argument is a pointless exercise. What's even more pointless is dragging me into it, when I really do have better things to do. My job around here is difficult enough as it is without being dragged into this sort of thing, which is nothing. OK so your feelings are hurt, it happens every day, so move on, shrug it off, build a bridge and get over it. What's more damaging is what has happened to the thread. That is the shame job. On occasions I have been wrong in computer threads, I have given incorrect advice, when called on it do I pick up my bat and ball and run off crying to somebody? No I do not, I figure that maybe my opinion was perhaps ill researched, or I didn't put enough thought into it at the time. Or perhaps I misread the thread at the time.
I get called lots of things around here, I guess it goes with the territory, and do I lose any sleep over it? Not a chance. Like I said, people are entitled to their opinions. I don't really care, it's not my problem.
As for exclusivity, you've got to be kidding. Anyone can post, freedom of speech is allowed, as long as it is not abusive, and nowhere in this thread has anyone been abusive, a good natured jibe perhaps, a bit of a dig maybe, learn to read between the lines sometimes, and ignore that which you do not like. It is not a rule to respond to everything. Sometimes, ignoring those that are tiresome is better for your own peace of mind, mine included. Now, after having been pushed to write a mega post before I go out for the evening, can we resume normal service. I'm over it. :-) Thanks.

I will quote my own post, read it again: This is a public forum, so you can expect people to disagree with your point of view or on occasion make a backhanded comment. If you are not thick skinned enough to accept it and see it for what it is it really isn't anyone's problem but your own.

As for your "What happened to this person nothing." Of course nothing, am I supposed to fight everyone's battles around here, just because a user takes a bit of offense to another's comment. if that were the case I would be permanently glued to this site playing the nursemaid to everyone. That is not going to happen. Not in this lifetime. Just because you take offense to what is said is not really my problem, you deal with it, it is not what I really consider offensive enough to warrant my intervention, although you persist with it and force my hand. As far as I am concerned it is embarrassing, for me and for the forum, and also for the OP of the thread, to see his thread degenerate into such a tragic state of affairs, and for what? Hurt feelings is all I see here, nothing more, nothing less, so pick up your bat and ball and go home, playtime will resume tomorrow.
Learn something from it, I learn something new everyday, today you have learned that people can and will disagree with you, they can and will call you out on your opinions if they don't like them, they will question the veracity of your opinion, sometimes they will ridicule you, and sometimes they will call you names. Whether you take it to heart or not is up to you. Perhaps you should spend some time on a lunatic fringe forum as I do, there the abuse is unrelenting, and do I care, not at all. I laugh at it. I can give as good as I get. Here it is better to ignore that which you do not like. That is the best advice under the circumstances I can give you. I do not and will not go around slapping people on the wrist for minor infractions, that is why this site is what it is, I believe in a fair go, call it the Australian way, or whatever you like. If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen, for a while at least. I have no plans to delete any accounts right now either, so sit back and relax ok. So, NOW can we resume normal service? My apologies to all. I hate this crap, give me a break.

What i learned today is that Mika19b can say what the
hell he likes to me and nothing will happened to him.
Like you say "I guess it comes with the territory"...

I can take advice and asume when i have wrong opinions.
I also apologyze when i make a mistake or error.
I dont treat people badly, attack them nor laugh at them.

Whats funny im the one been lectured instead of mika19b.
Really amazing.

Delete my account once and for all. Damm tired of taking crap
when not called for.

back OT, I've had a fully modded GP4 running on Vista 32Bit with GPxPatch, Tweaker etc etc. I'm quite happy to install Windows 7 x64 again (yup, another weekend with nothing to do!) if it'll help with an OS choice...

C'mon man don't start giving it the "Please delete my account" stuff.

No one want's you to leave GPG!

I personally just didn't like the way you came in and told Gav he was wrong. Gav has given me correct PC advice everytime :)

Gav can stick up for himself im sure, i just stuck my 2 cent's in as it kinda annoyed me.

If you wasn't having a go then i got it wrong didn't I? Never mind I will move on!

It's not like i have a hate campaign going on against you and i attack you in every thread - that's why Bruno is on these forum's ;)

*Only joking Bruno :)*

So just move one and forget it J-C, life go's on! :)

LMFAO.

Did you notice the joke bit underneath?

Me and Bruno get along and we have a laugh too - ask him.

I have never insulted him before, hence the smiley on the end?

Anyway that's it im not replying to this anymore, let's stay on topic shall we.

If you have a problem, there's a thing called PM. Funny that.

I won't report your post either for calling me a prick, i think the whole he called me name's thing is a bit babyish tbh.
