Ok, i have been using AutoCAD 14, and i was an expert with it, but havent used it 8 months, so im rusty

I got AutoCAD 2002 to fijd altho i can use basic functions, the more advanced stuff has changed about - so i think i will learn that again.

But i just seen pictures of what 3D Studio Max an do - a program i was planning to learn.

OMG, i havent a hope in hell

I know but it just makes you realise the kind of graphics PC games would be capable of if everyone had a supercomputer :-)

LOL!!

loox bloody good!

i got experience at all the autocad's.. but i basically know all the features in autocad 2002.. we use Autodesk Viz 4 to do all teh flashy stuff instead of studio max.. it would be too hard learnign a whole new program lol!

Well actually, the next generation video cards will support that type of rendering in-game! You'd obviously need a super processor to go with that!

I just got 3D Studio Max 5 and I'll start playing around with it later today :o) I had 3D Studio max 4.2 before but I never really did anything with it, IMO it's the most complex program ever created.
They say that even the best designers don't know all its features!

Yeah, Intel is breaking the 3GHz soon, and AMD Barton should kick ass too. So no problems. Yeah, NV30 will be able to render Final fantasy - movie in real time, with a fast cpu

(thats what they say anyway)
