Theres a feature in the Track Editor thats superb.

You create a track, then start GeneRally. Drive on your own on your custom track, and then go into Track Editor again. Click 'import AI line', and the driving line you took will be imported! Excellent!

that live for speed game is awesome!!
the trackside graphics are better than gp4, and the physics aren't half bad for a free game early in development. I just had a few online games, pretty good fun although the servers I found were really unstable so I just set my own up and it worked fine, great stuff :-)

yeah the online races are pretty good, once you get enough points to get the decent car (the turbo one) the physics are brilliant. this is really impressive. and its not even a beta! they are planning loads of different racing series, (carts, single seaters GT etc...) and loads of tracks for the final version. I just found out the full version won't be free which is a bit of a bummer but I don't blame them this is to good to be free

btw. if a few people on the forum get the game we could get a couple of online races together, would be cool. so if you haven't got it already to to [www.scawen.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk] now dammit!

here's a nice screenie:

no its just a really early version, its fully functional. its only got 3 cars and two tracks, one GP and one rallycross. don't use too many AI cars though, it absolutely kills fps

Have you managed to get 50 credits or more yet, Matt?

yeah, although I used the other cars before then, just go to the config file and change Selected car to whichever one you want. the turbo (usually need 200 credits) is a handfull to say the least. in case you didn;t know if you press F during the game or replays you can see the forces acting on the suspension and tyres, its useful to know your pushing the tyres too hard
