Osama Bin Laden killed **SENSITIVE**

Woke up this morning to hear this.

Apparently he was living (quote "living" not hiding) in a massive walled compound in the middle of a city called Abbottabad, less than one hundred miles north of Islamabad, right under the nose of a major military academy.

I don't think this will have much of an effect on the working of Al-Qaeda as someone else will just step up, and rather it could be kicking the hornets nest now, but I guess that's not the point.

Still, I'm doubtful until further evidence.

the world is deffinately not a better place, true, but probably high intel will be collected, many top terrorist will be tracked, located, killed... and Pakistan will need to explain a lot to uncle Sam

Well, what were they going to do with him? Put him in front of a judge?? then you actually have to come up with proof. If indeed he was a criminal than that should be determened in a trial. I don't think they had that intention. And being happy about somebody being killed doesn't come across as very civilised. That was the way things were done some 1000 -odd years ago.

Well, goes show they even take bins out on a Bank Holiday Monday now in 2011...
