Alter Egos...the avatar

A mate sent me an article on Web 2.0 and it mentioned Robbie Cooper and a project he did called Alter Ego on people and their avatars. Most telling is the pic of the wheel-chair bound little boy with the oxygen mask, his avatar is a metal clad heroic looking type that seems to represent freedom and strength, and the fat guy, his avatar is a fit looking powerful dude. Have a look, an interesting series of pictures that tells a lot about the characters depicted.
I don't play those online games where you require such an avatar, but if you do, post it and your pic.
