Either he rubs chalk off the board in a very odd fashion, or somebody has photoshopped some panels together. Some amazing smudge chalk lines on those.

That's from the Coen bros' movie A Serious Man and iirc it was a dream sequence where he figured out - using math - that we actually can't know anything.
