Online game hosting help!

hey guys i tried to host a game on the internet (worms and nba 2k10) but when i try i says i should check my network settings. I play with a router and maybe this is the problem and i dont know how to fix it at windows or some like that so please help me. you guys are my only chance.

You have to assign ports in your router. As to what ports are required to be set, you will have to look up the info on port forwarding for your specific games. portforward.com Test your ports
