Just for anyone who isn't following this excellent series on the BBC, yesterday's programme featured James enlisting the help of some Liverpool University students to build a bridge constructed entirely from Meccano across the Leeds-Liverpool canal.

The main reason for my post, however, is a heads-up that next Tuesday the programme sees him build a 3.2-mile racing circuit out of Scalextric. :D Can't wait for that one.

Missed last nights, so I'll catch the repeat on Sunday evening.

So far it's been an excellent series though.

As much as I like Jeremy's antics in Top Gear, James May is my favorite :D ! I'd love to see the BBC America pick this up.

I didnt like the "nerds" thought they were far too over confident!

Great episode though!

Thoroughly excellent TV - innovative, interesting and entertaining. Not many other shows on TV can say that.
