Most new cars I dont really care about, they're all the same.

This mercedes however has got my attention! I very much like this one!

Clearly a modern version of the Gullwing. Like it though, very sexy.

Very, very nice. Good to see them go for something a bit retro, that front grill looks awesome.

These remakes of old cars are always disappointing compared to the old ones (yes I know this isn't officially a remake but it basically is a ruined 300sl). It's almost insulting when they remake them but in order to make them look "cool and modern" they wreck them in the process. The nicest one is probably the fiat 500 remake, but even with that I would much much rather have an original fiat 500. If someone would genuinely update a car like that mechanically and have it looking the same then that would be ok, but no they have to bastardise it in the process.

Thanks, nice tip! Brilliant sig, but not so brilliant to my eyes. Sim's however... :p

edit - Daniel, normally id be with you on that, but I really do like this one.

And agree, like you say the 500 is the only new car based on an old one which is any good. New mini, well the old one is one of my favourite cars, and any re-make of that is just insulting. The VW was just a cool car to have, but now if you drive one your either gay, or a girl :p

I really liked this car. I'm by no means a Mercedes specialist, but in my opinion, it's the first car they make that does look like a sportscar instead of a luxury carriage sportscar-wannabe.

i think in silver or black would look a lot nicer. that red is horrific and makes it look like a monster.

this, however, is more like it! sadly, merely a concept.

That is one beautiful piece of engineering. I want to do bad things to that car, is that wrong?

Seen the new Mclaren MP4-12C? One seriously good looking car, and the 600bhp twin turbo engine is more efficient than a Prius in terms of emissions :D

Totally unrelated to the dog-like MP4/12 I take it? :)

The same MP4/12 that won at Melbourne, Monza and Jerez and would have won at Silverstone and the Nurburging had they not blown up?

It (and to a less extent the MP4/11) were wildly under-rated in my opinion. A major turning point for McLaren.

My bad, thought that was the MP4/11 of 1996.
