I disagree. Sheenan is not bad and he's fast but not better. He's more of a drama queen ... but at least you didn't come up with a Joey DeMaio clip.. :p

Who'd wanna be a bassist?!

One of my faves has to be Chris Squire, best known from Yes.

Interesting video, although not much spectacular bass playing, more from the fact that he clearly has no idea about musical theory, it's just all "in his head"



One of the best I've seen though is the guy from a local band called Roper, we did sound engineering for them once or twice and even though it wouldn't be my type of music, you couldn't help but be impressed with them...No clips of the bassist in particular, but one of their songs nonetheless...Vader might go for this stuff!

Go look at John Myung. If I could play bass like that, well... Why not? Though, the guitar is much better IMO.

The fact he can keep up with Petrucci is boggling, and on a bass no less.
