I have downloaded some podcasts from the Itunes store and wanted to convert them so i can listen to them in my car on CD, i have used a Ipod to PC util to get the mp4 file off my ipod but when it comes to burning it onto a cd the format isnt supported.

Ive also downloaded some stuff ive paid for and wanted to listen to them on cd also, is there anyway of getting the format supported for cd burning?

Well you could just create a playlist in iTunes and burn that playlist as an audio cd and it'll make a bog-standard audio cd.

Otherwise there's tonnes of mp4 to mp3 converters on the web, although if these mp4s are protected it could be difficult.

You could do the playlist function that Lopper describes, or you can just right click the podcast in iTunes and Convert to MP3.

Same goes for audio.
