Backwards Lyrics and Double Meanings

I stumbled across Stairway to Heaven while looking for That's The Way, from Led Zeppelin, and this sparked my curiosity. There are numerous stories about it and I'd love to read people's ideas and even post more of these.



I also remember something about that Beatles song released in the 1990's. Now, if the backwards lyrics were meant it just exponentiates the brilliance of Led Zeppelin.

That's Free as a Bird, which has a reversed recording of John Lennon saying 'turned out nice again' at the end. Oddly, when played backwards it does sound like 'made by John Lennon'

They also had a similar thing going on with Rain. Again, backwards singing at the end.
