Best friend?!

Ok...
So... should I be happy being best friends with someone I very very very much like?

Should I be satisfied with being her best friend? I mean because we ARE best friends.

This goes alot deeper, but im sure you dont want to hear it. The only reason im posting here is because I would normally tell her anything, but I cant.

It annoys me because I know we can be perfect!

Awww, bless! Chet's in love! This mirrors my situation with somebody I know well. She was going through a tough time with something or other, and needed somebody to be comfortable with, y'know, cuddling and the like. Ask her how she feels. The worst you could come off is still being friends. The best? Use your imagination!

I am in the same situation, but I am afraid of telling her about how i feel towards her as I fink our relationship may change for the worse, she may get freaked out :-/

@Gin: Don't be afraid. You may give the wrong impression. Just be yourself, ask and see what happens. I read in a university prospectus that "The first girl you kiss won't be your last." I hope that applies to me! (Do I sound like a relationship therapist here?)

Ok, here goes another bit to the story.

I thought about telling her tonight.

But.... first thing she said on MSN was "I dont know what to do"

Basically, 2guys texted her today, basically saying similar stuff :P

Both of them friends of mine, but the thing is what can she say to them without hurting them lol, she hasnt even done anything to make them feel that way lol!

And, so it was not the right time :P

Which makes me wonder, maybe im not supposed to tell her, or then. Its like ages ago, everytime I wanted to tell this other girl I liked her something happend to stop it.... And so I thought well, guess its not meant to happen.

But with this, I know it is!

Tell her before the others do! If ya don't you won't get the opportunity unless the other 2 guys sort their business, by which time she may have handled more than she can cope with. I know that was true with my situation.

That's unfortunate. She obviously doesn't like the real people!

I'd say it's best to not say anything - if she was interested, she probably wouldn't be telling you she doesn't know what to do.

You are a man. You don't need friends. You either f*ck it or kill it.

Whatever happened to meeting people in person? Am I getting too old, or is MSN a good medium to discuss these kind of things :S

You know her... Nobody can give you advice how to approach it. Do whatever feels best/seems right.

Or just tell her that you are not satisfied being just friends, so you also want to be friends with her vagina.

OK... first of all, don't bloody do it via MSN... @#$%& sake - what sort of message are you sending out if you do it through a phone cable? She, like most women, want someone with a bit of confidence, not someone who'll hide behind the telephone exchange.

Second, lmao Vader :D

I have to echo what Gav said, never under any circumstances express your feelings for someone over MSN, make sure you do it face to face. Worse still, don't let someone else tell her, it'll just make you feel bad and put you in a worse position,
