Another month. Another endurance race for VTR.

This time you can hear our own pit to car, and car to pit radio streams, and watch the race live on NRTV!

Neil can fill you in on the details of timetables and how this work below, but it's very simple, and all you need is an internet stream, a browser, and at least 1 speaker :P

Drivers for this one are:

VTR1 number 84:
Richard Dickson (qualifying and race start, and 3rd stint)
Neil Stratton (2nd and final stints)

VTR2 number 85:
Dave Ellis (qualifying and race start, and 3rd stint)
Gav Wilson (2nd and final stints)

VTR3 number 86:
Jannis Koopman (qualifying and 3rd stint)
Ian Woollam (2nd stint extended)
Esben Tipple (final stint)

Drivers are subject to change at any point during the race, and if a car retires, I'll try and rotate things around so all drivers get a shot at some point. As ever, you'll be kept in touch as things happen in this thread.

Radio streams aren't up yet - Neil will post the timetable for when the big red button is pressed.

Race is due to start at around 12:30 BST (13:30 GMT)

Yep, thats all right :)

There is a mini compo (no prizes sorry, but you may get a mention on the radio ;)) of guess the accent :)

The timetable for the race is:

11:00 BST - Free practice
12:00 BST - Server reset
12:05 BST - Practice for the qualifying driver
12:15 BST - Qualifying
12:20 BST - Happy hour
12:30 BST - Race starts

The race should last just over 6 hours depending on the weather conditions.

I'll post again when the website media is switched on, but it should be about 11:00 BST. I'll also post when Ian comes online and gives me the details for his pit radio broadcast.

Oh yes, one final thing, the pit radio broadcasts are also recorded, so if there is anything you would like posted as a quote, just give the time as accuratly as possible that it happened, and a clue to what was said and we'll try and get it for you. Gav's also recording his chat which won't be broadcasted, so quotes from there can be posted too.

Enjoy ;)

Is that Ellis or Allan McNish? :D
At least you haven't got me spotting for you :P

"Your front splitters gone!"
LOL :D
Okies, if you refresh the website you can pickup the 85 car with Gav and Dave

C'mon, kick out the USSR car!
OK... after qually we have:

#64 xUSSR on pole*
VTR1 2nd
VTR3 8th
VTR2 11th

*The #64 car are under investigation. They are apparently in the wrong car.

Apparently they have now been kicked... which means we start 1st, 7th and 10th.
#64 were kicked for having the wrong chassis - they used a Sauber, when they were supposed to be using a Jaguar.

After the start, Rich got jumped by SFH K3 (#16) and Black Squirrel (#42), but he's since overtaken #42. A big crash in turn 1 claimed 3 cars, but they're all still running. VTR2 are up to 5th, and VTR3 in 6th.
