noooooo, I can't belive it!!!

today I tried to play C&C Generals Zero Hour (original version, bought in store) over the net and an awful thing happened. I started the game, selected multiplayer then online, I entered my email, username and password and clicked login.

And what happened?
I got an error saying: 'Invalid serial number. Please try another.'
I'm so sad and angry that some motherf*cker is using my serial number with his warez game

did anyone else had this problems and what can I do?

Send a polite mail to the whoever runs the multiplayer server and politely tell him to give you a new login or he can push the game up his rectum.

Abuse usually works. I was trying to login to the Multiplayer section of FIFA 2004. I'd created a username and password, but then forgot it and changed my e-mail, so I couldn't retrieve it. I e-mailed customer support and told them the proble, and they insisted that I wasn't on their list of registered users. But I was (for those who don't have FIFA games, you have to register the game to play online, so you can only have one account for one game) and so I couldn't create a new one. I eventually got really angry, told them their server was f*ucked and that it was blatently wrong, and that I wouldn't be buying FIFA 2005 if the support was this crap! Two days later, I got a new username and passowrd!!!!!

the problem is not in the login but in the serial number, someone used it with his illegal game before I did with my legal one and that's the problem.

I'm sure if you contacted EA support and sent them a picture of your game, with the serial number visible and the reciept. EA will ban the other dude and give you your serial number back, or ban the old one and give you a new one

Keygens can create numbers that are the same as the original.

Ian: I'm sure Anze won't have the receipt anymore (), but a picture (photo or scan) of the serial number should be enough.

no, I don't have receipt because the game was a gift (from my grandma, so I'm 100% sure that no one used it before). The strange thing is that my cousin has the same problems (he also got as a gift from grandma)
