As some of you will know (mainly the VTers as it's plastered all over the forum :)) me, Matt and Gav are taking that creation Sim painted to the Bullrun 1000 today.

The race kicks off at 12:15 pm EST (5:15 pm GMT), so for all your VT Racing progress reports keep an eye on this thread :)

Also, you can tune into the Bullrun radio. Here's the post from the Bullrun forum:

"Ladies and gentlemen, I am proud to confirm tomorrow's live, flag-to-flag broadcast of the AmericanRacing.us Bullrun 1000 on KGMR Radio - www.kgmrradio.com.

Thanks to the generosity of KGMR, we'll present the Shasta Cola Pre-Race Show at 8:45 a.m. Pacific/11:45 a.m. Eastern, with qualifying coverage beginning at 9 a.m. PT/noon ET. I'll be anchoring and bringing you all the action from qualifiying to the green flag all the way to the checkers, and well into Victory Lane. The broadcast will be commercial-free and without interruption, save for a couple brief musical interludes to give me a chance to rest my voice.

Huge mess at the moment.

After the huge disconnections earlier, they've now stopped the race, with all cars in the pits, and they're trying to give laps back to those who got discoed.

Of course we pitted the lap before this happened, so we're now down to 7th. No idea where we'll be when this is all sorted.

It looks like all cars are getting put back on the lead lap, so in theory, we should still be 7th, but closer to the guys in front, and with fresh tyres and a full tank of fuel.

We're moving up the grid. Matt has been driving for over 2 hours now after overtaking his way up the field, and was off the jacks before I could ask him if he wants to change. Anyway, we're leading ;)
