I've just been playing F1C over the net. we were on the 3rd lap out of 23 and it was looking like it would be a really good race between me n this sauber guy. but, being the prick that i am, i braked about 0.5 metres to late for the first chicane (monza) and spun. i reversed out of it and got going again and the sauber was right beside me going into curbe grande. as he edged passed me i tried to tuck under his slipstream, hit his back wheel which tore off my front wing and sent me understeering my way gracefully off the race track.

i dont know why, but i now feel as guilty as **** for

1) Ruining what would have been a great race between me and him
2) Probably knocking his rear wing off

i also feel a right twat for knocking it off in the first place and then storming out the room without apologising.

im just not cut out for this F1 world...

ne of you lot experience "guilt" like this when you make a stupid mistake or something in an online game??

He is very, very fast, though I am not quite sure if his strings are legal. They look thicker than they should be

It's those kind of strings that tore my fingers to shreds today :D 8 hours straight playing + roundwound strings = shreddies ;)

Though technically you should be faster with thinner strings and shorter neck (neck of the bass, not of the player) ;)

I mainly use Earnie Ball or D'Addario strings for my bass and guitars.

I used Ernie Ball flat wounds for my 5 string but my Fender jazz is a coated fretless, so I slap roundwounds on that. Lovely, lovely sound but tough on the hands.

Jaco Pastorius used to use a fretted, before deciding that it would be a good idea - on the tour bus on the way to a gig - to remove all the frets. And so he did, and the fretless electric bass guitar became 10000000000000 times more popular!

Good move!

My old guitar teacher used to say "If it hurts play on for another 15 minutes". ;)

No Will's nice like that, he just ignores people ;)

Unles I've got it wrong, but if I have, you'll have trouble apologising to Jaco Pastorius! :(

If Big_F1_Fan was a certain nightclub bouncer he would have a lot to apologize for.

(Excuse my tasteless "joke";)
