I dont like this game. Handelings carp. the gfx are nice and i like that the little fences no longer stand when u hit them

Toca Race Driver is quite good for PS2

one of the most common ones is the AI cars slowing down for absolutely no reason, then coasting round the track, also on the last lap of a race, sometimes all the AI cars slow down for no apparent reason, you could be 20 secs behind and still win.

also, beware of pit entry's, if you soin your screwed, the AI tries to take you in backwards, and then the cra drives through the pit lane backwards, and stops before the pit exit for some reason :s

there are some smaller ones, but these ones are the only ones i have experienced, and only had the last one twice.

the first two seem to common for my liking

i have to agree that CMR3 is going the wrong way i.e. going arcady rather than simulation. This is unfortunate but i guess its because most people would rather have an arcade-y feel rather than a more full-bore simulation

I think the toca series is going the right way tho. Its getting better each time. Slowly, but very surely

one of the most common ones is the AI cars slowing down for absolutely no reason,

ive done 30-40 races i think and not had that yet. I had a slow comp car once, but on closer inspection (when passing him), his front end was almost totally gone, no body work left, massive accident

also, beware of pit entry's, if you soin your screwed, the AI tries to take you in backwards, and then the cra drives through the pit lane backwards, and stops before the pit exit for some reason :s

solution - dont spin in the pits? I slow down before the actaully pit line anyway, i dont like blasting it in and slowing down after ur in the pits - its unrealsitc cos u wud get DQ for that. And if theres comp car in front u go plowing into the back of it

is there ones which can cause the game to crash? Thats what i wud be worried bout. So far so good for me tho
