Zakspeed Porsche GT1 car - finsihed - but untested

ah yeah, i was having troule with them bits :

will fix it whne i get home then:P

make sure, shade/fill is solid, and see through is not checked

nice so far, how do you map, just a base texture, then the areas of the car with logos (gp4), or do you fully map it say, like an F1 2002 with the whole of 1 side of the car?

eh? i selected a load of polys, then mapped them, onto a canvas, then made a template with diff coloured bits and names for each part, so dave could se where everything was supposed to go

(and i fixed the @#$%& up bit at the back, i kinda missed that poly, it's one that i had bend every which way and where to get

the car now is in GP4 format, and runs. Unfortuantly i put the fiels on a floppy to bring to college, included was a screen of a nice battle of the mercs vs porsches but i forgot the disc

will mail it to you soon sim, and get in game pics uplaoded asap

oh, and the Panoz shape is at 50% :D

The problem with the porshe lights didnt show up in GP4. The lights were textured and mapped correctly, despite ZM showing them funny. Just my crap textures thats all :P

Can you post a screenshot of the Merc garage please Ellis.


The GP4 garages are incredibly low quality, so im gona use Lo2ks tex resizer to get them to a higher quality, cos they suck the way GP4 dispalys them

Also have poroblems with the alpha layers turning the whole tex grey? :S
It only does that with garages tho, no other tex

i know, i dont understand it. its not a big problem with the merc garage cos theres very little colour in it - its mainly grey, but others could proove a problem
