replay icon?

Hello ppls....im very new here...was just wondering
How do u put that FIA replay Icon in the game
it is the file 'iconspage3.tex'

Do u just exchange it with the other 1 from the GRAND PRIX4/MAPS/RESOURCES folder.......cause i did that and still no icon,
was the same as before

ANYWAY....to all the CAR CREATORS/EDITORS.....****GREAT WORK****

I NOW LOVEEEEE PLAYING THIS GAME!!!!

I have the same problem...I would love to know the fix.

The read me says it is a wad file. I don't think it is



To finish first, first you have to finish

The fix has a name: WadUpdater.

In fact you have to patch each track with that file.
So just download Wadupdater (clicking on my banner below
then select the tex file on the upper field and one of your wad files in the below field. Just clic on path all wad and here it is

I actually did that....umm....i already had the wadupdater....i went to update the file 'iconspage3.tex' but it showed the file did not exist in the wad??

But it exists in the Folder??

Im really not that good at controlling the files...have to explain a bit better Lo2k???

Hmm, can you copy/paste texts in your fields ?

example:
File: C:\iconspage3.tex
Wad: C:\GP4\monza2001.wad

PS: and can you copy/paste the exact error message too ?

I can actually take the whole file iconspage.tex3 or 2 or 1...out of the folder(c:\Grand Prix 4\MAPS\RESOURCES) and it doesn't change???

i replace the file 'iconspage3.tex' in that folder and the same NOTHING!

Is that better?

It is very simple for install

Remake the same thing that in the image below. You are not obliged to respect the folders



Just fill fields like above and press the "Update All track Wads"

Yeah.....thanx anyway Duffer, i just realized after i sent the message that i was using the cars.wad file and not the track wad files!!!!.....ummm....derrrr....
