Can't patch GP4

Please help!!!! AMD Athlon 1000, Windows XP Home, 128 MB nVidia GeForce 4 Ti4400, 512 MB RAM. Everytime I try to run the 9.6 Patch I get a message that "GP4 has already been updated", eventhough it hasn't been patched. I try to run the game and have the the same bugs as in the unpatched GP4. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game several times and the same thing happens, no matter what I do. Any ideas??

Go to your registry folder and go to the Infogramme folder and delete everything there

Then reinstall GP4 and the patch and it will work!

I had the same prob recently as I tried to run the patched game and there are a lot of graphics missing.

I am a rookie at this, do please be patient. I can't find the registry folder on my computer. How do I do this?

start\run then type in regedit ..when its open go to edit \ search
