does perforamce editor 1.2 work with patched gp4?

Ive just installed averygpfan's car.wad in my patched gp4 directory and it looks great!! However im having trouble using performance editor 1.2 with the patched gp4 as when i set the patch in config its says my gp4.exe is invalid or missing!! "make sure my gp4.exe is decrypted". However im using the GP4 (1.02 Patched) Decrypted No-CD Patch !! so i thought it would be ok!!

Does performance editor 1.2 not work with the patched version of gp4 and if so how can i get avergpfan's 2002 performance file in to the patched gp4?? or are there any decent 2002 performance txt files i can use instead using gp4pfedit v1.22 via gpx patch??

(I have to use patched version of gp4 otherwise i can't use my momo ff coz it crashes to desktop with the unpatched version)
