Which editors can be used to install car shapes/textures and anything else into the patched GP4

none, you have to fool the editors by replacing the new exe with the unpatched one

I take it that only works for editors that dont modify the exe file?

yeah, works for csc4 but if u edit the exe file then the data wont be in it when u restore the eexe
