What good is the new carshape editor

The screenshot of the F50 carshape inserted into GP4 at a rival website by Matti Lattinen, has the old F1 carshape inside it. Is this able to be removed or are we stuck with it. What I am saying is, is that it appears the original carshape is not edited but simply covered by another shape? Am I right?

Actually the original sjhape should be replaced. I think this is just a first attempt, so expect the real thing to look better (plus it will ahve textures then)

you can say the name here. As far as I know here at www.grandprix3.com we are a free community and this site has no filter that turns any reference to www.grandprix3.com into www.grandprix3.com. If you saw it at Matti's www.grandprix3.com site, why not say it?

yes, it is possable, that was just done for testing purposes, what it is, is that a gp4 shape, is not 1 shape, it contains 20 or so "objects" to make up the shape, therefore, if you replace say, the cockpit area, with an F50 shell you still have the rest of the car inside, heres a screenshot, its wip but it illostrates the point

Those are awesome mate. Collision detection will be a problem though right?

Also is it possible to move Driver or wheel position. Looks great though.

About changing things, i already know where is the cockpit camera, so with new carshapes it seems it could be usefull soon i add it in Cameditor
