Does anyone have a set up for Logitech MOMO ff wheel that works really well? If you do could you post it here.

I have been playing around with general settings (centre spring off, on and on at different percentages) and then in the game with ff at diiferent levels. I switch aids off (including steering help). Advice and may be a setup file would be very welcome.

in control panel (Wingman setup)

- unchecked box "one axis for both pedals" , ie.e choose split axis*
- center spring off, else it covers the FF effects too much
- effect strength all 100% (150% is too much, if you ask me and I am afraid of wear if I overdo the rumble-effects)

in GP4 (options/controls/advanced)

- choose under "user set" "not used" to configure new device

- controller type "wheel"

- steering device "Controller A (X)"
- steering mode "analog"
- low sensivity zone "0%"
- steering help "0%"
- max lock "20 deg"
- reduce with car speed "0%"

- acceleration device "Controller A (Z)"
- acceleration mode "analog"
- low sensivity zone "0%"
- brake device "Controller A (IRZ)"

- brake mode "analog"
- low sensivity zone "0%"

ýou can change all other sensivity values to 0%, according to taste. Take care, steering is much harder now. People who are used to F1 2002's nervous behaviour canot complain anymore that GP4 feels like driving on rails. Anyway, with these controller setups a perfect setup is really important - and makes a much greater difference.

*don't know what your Wingman profiler says, since i got the German version

Kiitos Vader,
The set up caused a wild right-left movement in the wheel while driving. I made some very small adjustments and now driving feels closer to my preferred (f12002) style. My settings are:

- steering device "Controller A (X)"
- steering mode "analog"
- low sensivity zone "10%"
- steering help "0%"
- max lock "16 deg"
- reduce with car speed "12%"

- acceleration device "Controller A (Z)"
- acceleration mode "analog"
- low sensivity zone "0%"
- brake device "Controller A (IRZ)"

- brake mode "analog"
- low sensivity zone "5%"

In any case, you put me on the right track (sorry about the pun).
Otherwise the game has started to run amazingly well. The gears are reponding better (related to PO level?) and I have raised the resolution back to 1280x1024. I am just about converted. I nee some good car setups to work on though. I can only reach within 3 secs of my best times in F12002 (close to 2002 poles)
