Hey guys, i've got another question:

I've installed a 2002 seasonpack, not the new one from flo but an older one. But I want to replace some cars to the carsets from ralph hummerich, because they look way better. I know how to do it and I do it with carsetcreator. I've exported the cars but I don't see any difference in the game... When I start up the carsetcreator again, and imort the cars again I see the new cars are in it because you can see the new carset with importing, so I see a difference just in the carsetcreator, not in the game
:-(
Did I instal it right?? It's just 'export' the car and not more than that!
can somebody help me please??

thanks

Um I think I got this right.

Make sure all folders in the 'Menudata' folder are NOT set to 'read-only.

I have to say that I use the new gfx-file (to run the game faster). Maybe there is something wrong using that one....??

Sorry Jarvi it was not meant to make fun of you or of your problem.
Like Ellis said try with GP4master, it's much more "raw" and annoying than CSC4 but could get the job done, if Dumbass doesn't give you a good tip for his prog.

ok...

export using csc4,

move f1gstate.sav, f1gstate.bak and f1graphics.cfg into another folder (so there not in the gp4 folder) and start the game, then see if the cars are there

Dumbass, thanks i've tried it, and it works! But now there is another huge problem. As most people did, I changed the the .cfg graphics file to run the game faster and get more fps! And by putting this file in another directory in the gp4 directory the game runs again like before, crappy and slow....:( The carsets are there and look awesome though... But now I get again just 20 fps and PO very hi, with the new gfx file the game was sooo smooth, 1200x1000, 34fps, PO 40-80. So do I have to change something on the cfg file or what? When I put the file in the separate folder the game is like at the beginning and when I put it again in the main gp4 folder it's okay again, but the new liveries are gone again... Can somebody help me out for that???
