I found the problem, mortal! Win 3.1 is the culprit. You need at last 1in 3.11 for Workgroups.
Btw, is it MSDOS 6.0 or 6.2?

You should also try to get more Ram. I know it is expensive but another 4MB cannot be wrong.

Which VGA card do you have? I have the EWS4000, which is really a runner! I was thinking about getting one of those new 3D cards, maybe aMatrox Mystique. They have up to 4 (!!)MB only for video RAM.

I got a copy of DOS 6.22....on three disks! Man, these operating environments are getting bigger. Mind you, Solitaire looks pretty sweet in Windows 3.11 running in 256 colours at 640 x 480 resolution on my 14" monitor...:D

msdos6? wtf! When did that happen, I only have msdos5.0 I went to buy more ram the other day but I will have to take out another mortgage so that's out of the question right now. I dream of a vga card, I still have a greenscreen 12 inch monitor, makes it kinda hard to see the windows icons though but if you squint and hold your head a bit to the right the results are passable. What is this 3d thingy, must be something new, hard to keep up these days
