Well, I just bought my P4 2.4 today and installed it. I havent' re-installed Winblows yet but I cna now run GP4 at 1280x1024 at 31FPS. This is almost as high as my friends P4 2.53 at 1600x1200. And it looks SWEEEEEEET. I can't go higher cause that is the limit of my monitor, hopefully I'll be replacing that one soon also.

I've got P4 1.8, and GP4 runs on 32FPS wih 1240x1024, and can't get higher because thats a limit of my monitor too. My monitor is 4 years old.(Prilips 105mb)

I got a LCD monitor too, 17 inche Belinea 10 70 10....... I know ppl who never owned a LCD monitor before thinks LCD monitors can't refresh quick enough for games and you get this ghosting effect, on my monitor this so called ghosting effect is non exsistant................. ALL LCD monitors nowaydayz all have high enough refresh rates, my monitor runs at 85 hertz on all resolutions from 640x480 to 1280x1024..........

LCD's are cool, they don't kill your eyez with harmful radiation lol, they are 100% flat screen (although you can get flat screen CRT monitors lol), LCD monitors are sooooo light and slim too............................... LCD monitors adjusts the screen size automatically for all games running at any resolution, so no need to keep adjusting the screen to the correct size for each game........

But I can't run Stereo 3D properly on the LCD ( ................ Also LCD's just can't produce dark jet black backgrounds properly lol, thats because LCD screens are too bright.............

Wait a minute CDN_Merlin, soooo for your other topic in the forum the one about getting 36 frames per second on a P4 2.53ghz, that PC you was talking about is your friends PC???? because you said in this post that you got a P4 2.4... LoL

Yes, I just got a P4 2.4, the 2.53 was a friends system I built for him when he drove 900 miles to visit me.
