Multi speaker sound

Hi guys,

I've recently upgraded to a six channel sound card and a 4.1 speaker system.

I know GP4's sound system is buggy but
Now, I'm a bit confused as to what sounds I should hear from the game.

Is the rear speakers really not suppose to emit sound from the engine. I could hear all other sounds except the engine in the rear speaker. The front speaker emits all the sounds.

I'd really appreciate someone who has thesame setup and tell me what I am supposed to hear.

Did you enable multi-speaker sound in the sounds menu?

I think it also depends which view your using. If your using the cockpit view then I guess the sound would come from the back.

Well, if you have the Audigy then the EAX HD will give you fake virtual surround with games............ But if you have a decoder, then you could use the decoder to give you Dolby Pro Logic sound??????

Does Windows recognise your multi-speaker setup????????? Does all the sounds in GP4 work in normal mode?

You can also try going into your Creative Surround Mixer program and doing a speaker test there
