I suc.ked big time at practise. Makes me feel ashamed, especially because the race drivers did very well in quali and scored in the race a 1-2.

Silverstone must be good to have a chance to take a race driver seat for next season.

With the Season 3 Finale ahead of us GPGTV takes a look at the championships and scenarios.
This season has been exceptoionally close and exciting in our oppinion, and the last round promises to be nothing less.

GPG SUPERLEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP report/SILVERSTONE PREVIEW
Marko Aleksander (Martini Paddock Racing) is coming to UK with nine points of an advantage (139:130) over Philip Oakley (Team Shadow Subaru). In reality it's only eight points, cause incase they will be tied on points, Oakley would be s3 WDC, as he has one third place more than Aleksander.
here's how it goes
-4th place could be the key for both;
a)if Marko retires in Silverstone, Philip must be at least fourth to win the championship (or 6th with two special points ofcourse)
b)if Philip wins the race and even gets two extra points (for say pole and fastest lap), Marko by finishing fourth would however take the title.

-Philip obviously must be ahead of Marko in the race if he is to win the title, just a couple of combinations.

-if Phil finishes 2nd, Marko must be at least 9th to become the new champion
-if Marko ends up on 12th place, Phil must be at least 3rd to become the GPGSL champ again
-if Phil slots 3rd place and Marko 11th, the title goes to Aleksander
and so on.

Taking potential special points aside ofcourse as they can mix things up.
If Aleksander finishes ahead of Oakley or both retire, Marko would be the champion, ofcourse.

Apart from the WDC title, there are other big and interesting "matches". Not only will Velox and IED battle it out for 3rd in WCC (In theory they could still finish 2nd too), but their drivers will have a whole other match for 4th place in the WDC standings.
Groeneboer has the four points to fall back on in his quest to be ranked 4th in the standings, but will have his hands full with van der Voort, Houston (both Velox) and his teammate van Smirren.

Ross Cartwright has Kevin Schroeder and Monil Santilal to "deal" with for eight place and Stefan van Renselaar will want to to enter the TOP 10, which isn't impossible for Ingers, Horvath either.

Hinz will want to keep Stoddart at bay, while van het Bolscher is going to be "facing" Brown and Somogyi.

The reigning champ John Warrington will want to go ahead of Tonks and De Boer, but will he make it?

While WCC has been decided, TSS defending the title, four or even five teams have a chance to clich the fifth place. Lucky seven, DFR, DXR, Alpha as even VSM aren't immune letting that 5th place go.

TNR vs Phoenix fo 10th , while MPR will try to keep it status quo at 2nd.


All in all, Finale at Silverstone is certainly one GP you don't wanna miss.
