carset creator 4 beta 3

so i downloaded it, installed a few new car liveries and it worked a treat

but when i started to export 2002 pitcrew liveries it bombed me out of the game.

so i reinstalled gp4 and reinstalled carset creator 4, and now the liveries that i imported previously won't work in gp4?

i have the no-cd crack installed,


any suggestions?

erm, the last time i checked CSC4 didnt support Pit liveries?

Are you sure it supports em?

he problem lies with the program not exporting the car liveries anymore, despite a full re install of gp4 and CSC4

ok, here goes.

i noticed an error in beta 3 after about 2-3 hrs after uploading it, i fixed the error and uploaded it again. if you were one of the first 100 ppl to download beta3 then please download again.

to check the version right click on csc4.exe, select properties and make sure that the file version says 3.2.


CSC4 backs up the game the 1st time you use it. instead of doing a full install you can just copy the files from the [csc4 folder]/backups into the gp4 folder and there you go.


CSC4 beta 3.2 does support pit crew, it also downsamples the TGAs when you load them.


when did the game crash? was it when the progress bar was about 1/4 gone when loading a track? if it was then the cars.wad is corrupt just copy the backed up one.

yeah, the changes are:

-FIX- Fixed bug when names wouldnt update
-NEW- TGAs are now downsampled automatically when loaded
-FIX- Fixed bugs when loading helmets from tga files
