Nvidia 30.00 drivers

I have just downloaded NVidia 30.00 drivers from 3dguru.com. Performance seems smoother. They are un-official, but are for all Nvidia cards, not just one manufacturer. Also the game has stopped crashing to the desktop when pressing esc, so maybe they like directX8.1

Any FPS gain?

Sort of, I have it set to 40fps and it hardly ever dropped below, with these it seems even more stable. I'm using Win98SE and a GF2MX32MB, i would recommend these drivers

But NOT with Direct X 9 beta. I just had a crash from the combination

Hi,

Tried installing these drivers and followd online instructions.
Loaded standard drivers, but when I now come to install the new drivers I go throguh the process and then I get the image below!

Help, even tried loading detonator previous version but same message appears saying "the driver software you chose to install may not have been tested by Microsoft to verify that it works properly with Windows ME

To maintain the reliability of your system, the following driver will not be installed:
NVIDIA GeForce2 MX/MX 400"


Can anyone help me, as I am now in 640x480 mode and 16 colors.

I am convinced I have smoother graphics with a slightly lower PO using these newer drivers than the previous ones.

I think he meant 30.30

30.30 were from Gainward for the GeForce4s, 30.00 are a general release for all Nvidia cards.

I think a couple of weeks ago they were gainward 30.30s but now they seem to be for all cards. All those numbers are confusing anyway
The 30.00 seem very good though.
