Actually I just tested it and was slower. I was Frentzen in the Arrows and qualified down in 8th, and was slower in the race. Nice to feel restricted actually, but rather frustrating at the same time. Well done Gpx patch boys (Rene)!!!

I'm going to play at pro level not ace.
It's too hard to cope with CC at ace level with keyboard and car power team dependant!

Hmm I just tested it again and set the fastest qualifying team as Alex Yoong in qualifying....

Hard to believe but if you did call Stoddard.....IMMEDIATELY!!!!!

And thats 'qualifying time, not team, sorry. So the team dependant thing doesnt work, at least not for me.

Simple to check...try once with Ferrari and once with Minardi and see what you get.

Yup I got it switched on but it's not making any difference for the car I drive, which means I have to either play as Williams or Ferrari in pro mode, or a mid-field team in Ace mode to purposely be slower than the rest.

Paolo, I drive Pro mode, its challenging, and though you can be quicker than MS on your best tracks, on those your less good on, its quite realistic.
