GP4 92 meg update?

There is a 92 meg update to GP4 on Alpha 1 web sites but when you follow all the links, you cna't d/l it. What gives?

Okay you click on the link for the update..then click the 'sports' drop down menu and click GP4 then go to 'GP4 saison downloaden' or whatever it is. YEs it is all in German or something similar but click 'start'. Then click the small or large update, then download. Simple.

Anyway not worth downloading.
It's a compilation of already seen stuff...Evil's carset, Yaw's pitcrews, gpxpatch, Bruno's tracks, ad hoc wheel and so on....just in one huge package.
Much more convenient to dl this stuff here piece by piece.

WEll it's nice to have it all done in one install file. I got it BTW.

Whtiey, I never argued ppl woulnd't want to d/l this file, What I was argueing about is the fact that the carsets from Mr Evil were in the smaller version. Well, guess what. he's in the larger version also, so i just deleted the file.

because GP4 is so hard to edit (took me a full day to full work out the tex, tga, wad files) then for something so big is god because all you do is double click

alot of people want that - BUT i dONT because it gives me more than what i want. I dont want thse cars, i have others instaleld. I have the default wheel.

I mean OTHERS could like that d/l if they want al that stuff.

but since i dont want all that stuff and im on 56k, im not not gona bother

If ur on cabel then u may as well make a backup and d/l it, cos it will tkae bout 30sec to install

I have cable and although a slow d/load(180kb/s)it only took around 8mins,but after installing and playing decided it wasn't worth it and replaced the files i had earlier backed up. I didn't notice much difference at all. Hope u have better luck

it would be nice if it backs up the stuff it overwrites.

the carsetups are NOT GOOD for a keyboard :P

and for some reason it decided to delete all my car setups :S

Sorry Merlin, I was directing the comment to Ellis. It's all good here. Sorry boys.

I still think it would be good to separate the files into different "sets". One with cars, helmets and cockpits,one with Tracks and a final with menus.
