What SW are you using for making car texturs? Because when I look on those *.tex files, I don't know how to create my own car, I don't know which part of that picture is where on the car. Please help.

you need to convert the tex files to tga (csc4 can do this :D:P)

then open it open it in something like paint shop pro

But in png format looks exactly the same as in tex format. Or no?

tex files will not load as png files, there different formats

Well, i meant that the picture in *.png looks like picture in *.tex file.

The problem Haldo has is, that even when he has converted the *.tex file to any other format he still cannot see which part of the car is where.

Haldo, the only way to find is trial and error. Apart from that the miost important parts like front and rear wings, nose cone, etc. can be easily identified.

Yeah - see, all the cars are laid out differently, which can be a right pain. I think it was done to make editing harder - but they pretty much failed :P
