Hi,
I need to find a way of making Gp4 start at 800x600, as my monitor is only compatible with resolutions up to this and the game insists on starting in 1024x768 (i presume).
Surely someone else must have had this problem.

open f1graphics.cfg and change the res there

Did you uncheck automatic and check manual in the graphics options?Then pick 800x600.

I misunderstood could be drivers either video or monitor.My 14" monitor will run at 1024x768.Oh and thanks alot to whoever posted the winner of the french grandprix,the race isn't on for a couple of hours thanks to golf.

Thanks ppl, all is well now.
And yes its quite old, a 15" i got with my Packard Bell 486 SX2-50 years ago, but its served me well since. Thinking about it this monitor's had all four grand prix games played on it, some running better than others. :O)
