Finally, found the solution to my GP4 problems through the forum.

I've had to dump 3D Accelerated Sound and am only running at 16bit 800x600 with only default graphic features running, but at least I can get out of the pits and round the track without being dumped to the desktop.

I can now find all those other lovely bugs that Morbid is cataloging.
