Hello,

I took the newer German Hockenheim Track from 2006 and I went on racing a whole race.
After 7 or 8 rounds I changed from one view (the one where you can look from the airbox) to another view (drivers view).
It worked for a few meters. And then CTD with a gpxoad data.

Usually there's something in the stack dump that will give it away, but I can't pick it. Post it at the SDI forum, link is in the FAQ.

Just gpx-patch and csm and the official patch and the decrypted exe

Hmmmm, can you post that log on the SDI forum, there's a link in the GP4FAQ.
Also, do a from scratch re-install, test, apply the official patch, test, apply the nocd, test, apply gpx_patch, test, you do not need to apply csm if you are not loading a mod. if so, do it last and test. Download the patches separately instead of updating via csm, this will allow the fault finding and help nail down the problem.

I already did all that stuff.
I allready wrote. The problem starts when I want to use a newer car and therefor I had to change the cars.wad. And then my PC freezes.
So I would say the problem is the cars.wad but I want to use new Cars... that's why I installed csm.

I'm sure you said in an earlier post you weren't using any mod. A mod that is loaded with csm should be good, unless you have altered the files somehow. Post the log in the SDI forum, but I suspect you'll be told pretty much the same as here, that the wad is faulty.

that the mods freeze isn't caused by the cars.wad, the game would only crash to desktop. Freezing is most time due graphic card issues. Maybe it goes to warm, not installed latest drivers, ...

So ok,
I have the newest drivers for my GeForce 8600GT.
I just finished a 100% race without any kind of problem, the cars.wad is the original one.
I also played Games like Stalker, CoD4 and Crysis without having problems in any case.
Now I will test GP4 with a changed cars.wad
I will take one, where I know that it can't be broken, because it works on another PC without any problem.
I'll tell about...

Do you have any kind of problem with GP4?
I think there is anything with the cars.wad
But today my GPxPatch didn't work correctly so I deleted everything and I will reinstall the game with everything needed on monday.

read and know that some users had serious difficulties in special under windows vista with overclocked drivers and i use the original 169.44 ENG driver version by Nvidia which is BETA.

my 3d settings in nvidia control panel...

Hello everyone,

I reinstalled GP4 but now without patch 9.6 and just with decrypted 1.0 exe.
For now, it works, almost.
Now I get the following ErrorMessage

That is just a part from my debug-report.

You do need to load the 9.6 patch as it addresses many bugs. The error message is common, seen in a lot of gpx logs. The bit we need to see you haven't shown. Get GP4 running with the correct patches if you can, without any wad changes, then post the log.
