But the work was excellent in Rial, congratulations.

If we had new cockpits for the main view the 88 mod would be almost a completely new version!

The cockpit shape is probably due for an update, so tell us what could be better :)

It's easier to show you:

This is the Lotus cockpit from the GTR2 88 F1 mod, and the Lotus from GP4's 1988 V1.25

I Know the to platforms are years apart, but I like how the cockpit behind the steering wheel has more curved shape vs. the flatter one in GP4. The neater gauge layout appeals to me too.

Also I like how the sides of the cockpit are more sculpted in GTR2, whereas the cockpit in GP4 seems to spread open as far as your field of vision. It feels more like a view from a small boat to me than from a F1 cockpit.

Anyway, as talented as you guys are when it comes to modding, I'm sure there is a way to redesign the cockpit to a more realistic shape...:)

I'm working on a March V2 version:

I'm trying to finish it quickly and send it to Tony with Rial and Dallara cars. McLaren MP4/4 is finished and will be included in the next 1988 update mod.

Great work Filou, but I've almost given up on seeing a new version of the 88 mod.

Seems like it's way down on the priority list even with all your hard work...:(
