w300 -> rFactor

Hey guys, I am starting this basically to put some leadership regarding a possible conversion of the w300 series to rFactor . As we all know this series is a hit here in the GP4 community and there's a tremendous potential for it in the rFactor world with online capabilities, great physics and editing possibilities.

What we need are some people to help with:

- Textures conversion (given the fact there's a GP2 mod for rFactor) and shape conversion if the mapping is different in the rFactor GP2 shape. Perhaps alter textures to fit rFactor's GP2 template.
- Damage modelling, if it's the case.
- Helmet shape and textures conversion.
- Physics work, implementing car physics and the drivers' performance file (if no more than one possible, just season's end).
- Setting up a system that will allow rFactor to cope with the driver changes, as well as helmet/livery changes and we can add a test driver separate pack. We can also add a team owners pack just for more fun too.
- Sound work.
- Permission from authors.

I might be missing something but I believe this is a good start and it is quite organized so far so it is easy to build upon and go from this . I am willing to help with some textures and possibly performance file or do part of the folder system setup in rFactor.

We can get together and make this work so we can enjoy this online (leaving GP4 to be the trusty w300 league official runner ) and have our series popularity grow even more!

With an online w300 series i can show i'm far better then Byron.

Now he is only better then me because the computer does the thinking. :p

I can't believe I say this but... Byron is not bad he would surprise you and if he drives like latest races (not W300 but A1Season4) he would be a pity for ya
If I can get Rfactor right I might give it a shot can't believe I say that also (think I'm very sick today!!!)
But I stick to it, to NOT call it W300!
