I remember there was the 2001 mod thread at GP4world but I can't find it anymore.

Absolutely fantastic Minardi as well as all the other 2001 cars etc. Here is my question: Why do we have to wait for a full mod? I liked it better when the authors of these fantastic cars,helmets,pit stands/boxes released them all seperately. Many of us dont use csm(great program tho!-my buddy uses it and the mods that are available are awesome-esp the DTM2005 Mod) and are quite capable of installing them with gp4master/easywad. Sure it is nice and easy for the newbies but people like myself can install them without csm. I've been waiting for a 2001 season update,,,,since-well 2001-LOL. Dont get me wrong-I totally appreciate that the authors have personal lives and these updates take a bit of time and effort. I recently d/l gp4builder and took a good look at track editing-quite mind boggling- I had hopes of making a track but being a father of 3 kids,work FT, I just dont have the time to make anything like a track or car. I barely get a chance to play gp4 with the kids on the pc all the time.
Again, I dont want to upset any of the authors of these fantastic looking addons but an answer would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

i still have some individual files....tyre textures by lee...wheel shape...

& 2001 stands....stands etc...said this before no one was interested though....

i have almost a complete hi res 01 mod,just lacking the jag and a decent arrows..

well....if someone can ask mr pibbs for his permisson for release.

the wheel shape & textures need lees ok....

i just put the car wad together with hi res cars and helmets with 3d team specific arms & wheels thats all but im still 2 teams short of the full grid....

I'd be happy for you to release those 2001 stands Jim. It would be nice for someone to use them otherwise they're just a waste. GeZeRe and I did a pitlane update on all 17 original tracks, complete with wheel guns fuel rigs etc. They just replace the original wads. These 2001 pitstand textures are fully compatible with the pitstands in those tracks. But they'll need garage textures. Did anyone ever do some 2001 garages?

they are way to good not to release...
