dean back off, his compo was broking he cant do anything bout that eh? and hes working on the w300 template wich was lost, so give him the time.

>_> My bad..Anyway, why Nick!?!? Byron would've been a better choice - For one, we know Byron will actually do it within the next couple of days.
Dean, we have who we can, there are very few people with computers capable of running the comp, the time to run the comp and who actualy want to do it. I'm just grateful we have one person per series to keep them going, a weeks delay is not a problem over a nine month season.

Well Dean, you might want to know I am working on it right now. So will you please STFU and stop bitching and being annoying?
My apologies Nick. I didn't mean to be bitchy. >_>
damnit what's so hard? I did the screens and so, Nick just makes a nice report because he asked, well he offered to do it - and yes I can spend my time atm better with school and recovering the W300 car template

@Nick, good to hear you're working on it, thanks :)

If you are racing, keep on racing and get some points!

I can't be arsed to make a Deanbitching (tm) logo ;)
World Grand Prix - Race of Italy

Pole sitter Postma is ready for the race! Will he keep his first place?

He does!

The two DFRs are fighting for 3rd place.

Prins makes a move on the most brilliant driver on earth!

They collide!

While I can join back in 13th, Prins has to wait for the whole field to come by! That serves him right! ;)

Turnbull is doing a very good job in his first WGP race, he is in 5th!

After lap one the field looks like this

The DFRs are still fighting.

De Boer makes it stick!

Capriosa spins! Could his suspension be damaged? He'll rejoin at the back of the field.

A DFR cuts a chicane.

The other DFR cuts the other chicane.

Noriega makes a move for fifth on Ainley

Noriega's got it!

Here comes the EX-reigning champion.

He spins!

He's being overtaken by these cars...

...and these...

...and this one...

...and these and many, many more. He'll rejoin in 21st.

Cantero overtakes Van Smirren for 8th.

Meanwhile, his teammate Ainley runs wide.

But keeps it on the black stuff.

Van der Voort tries to overtake a car with an orange frontwing endplate for 13th.

Van Smirren dives into the inside of Ainley...

...and they collide!

Both are off now!

Ashbey is doing a solid job in 10th, but it seems he can make that 8th quite easily.

Prins overtakes Hampson for 14th.

Postma is still in the lead in, for what it seems, a faultless race for him!

Turnbull is the first to pit. Cantero decides to in early too, as well as Panker.

That's Ainley going wide again!

This time he can't keep it on the track and he is out!

Looks like Turnbull is going wide too.

And he is! Turnbull is out too. What a shame for him, his debut race was going so well!

He also hits Ainley. The marshall must have some broken bones now! :P

Noriega pits.

There's Prins bothering Van der Voort again. Will he make a successful move this time?

No! He screws up again! Van der Voort won't like that!

Van der Voort can continue in 10th, but Prins has to wait again. I hope he learned from his mistakes ;)

Postma pits from 1st.

Houston comes in from 2nd place.

After his stop, Postma is still in first place, well done!

Capriosa runs wide...

And wider...

...but saves it and gets back going again.

Parker gets out of the slipstream trying to overtake Van Smirren.

Barrowcliff and Achilles pit.

Due to his very, very silly spin, Cramer finds himself up in 12th now.

Capriosa goes off again.

And manages to save it again.

That's Ashbey blowing up his engine! He is out.

Thinking he might finish with a broken engine, he carries on.

But eventually, he gives up.

Van Smirren misses the first chicane.

That's the leader going wide in the Parabolica!

He crashes into the wall! He has to retire! That puts Houston in the lead!

Copycat...

With this new silly spin, he'll have to rejoin in last again.

Houston comes in for his last pitstop of the season. At least, he hopes so.

De Boer follows.

Noriega pits a lap later.

Woolhead goes off but keeps going.

Yermo pits. Apparently.

Yet another driver runs wide. This time it's Achilles.

And into the wall! No points for him today.

Barrowcliff came...

...saw...

...and conquered.

Barrowcliff got attacked...

...ran wide...

...and lost.

Prins tries to make use of the situation and attacks at the main straight. His car has a lot more straight line speed.

Prins has got it.

But Barrowcliff doesn't give up that easily!

He retakes his position!

Meanwhile, Houston is comfortably in the lead.

The cameras haven't seen it, but Prins is in front again!

And the cameras have missed another overtaking action as Barrowcliff seems to be in front, but Prins is attacking!

And makes it stick!

At the main straight Houston finishes first.

And those damn DFRs finish on the podium again ;)

Thanks loads to everyone who has helped to run the WGP series, I believe it is now almost as good as the W300 ;)
Really though thanks Maikel for all the hours you have put in and also to nick for this pretty good race report - Very Marray Walker like, the way you didnt have a clue what was going on

Pretty happy with the final championship positions considering our overall pace this season. We some how recovered fourth in the constructor's which should put us in some position to challenge to retake our title in season 3.

Nick did brilliantly in the driver's seat for fifth and Ivan once again very solid in tenth. Of course I'm most proud of myself for taking third in the tester's championship despite only taking part in 11 weekends and I thoroughly deserve the bronze :)

See you next season!

Poor race for the team, but we still secured 6th in the constructors champ :D

welcome to the team dan mills!

now we aim to win ;-)
