The Johnnie Walker deal was a multi year contract and they will surely be on the cars....I just don´t understand why everyone wants to get rid of it.
And the one shot of the *new* livery doesnt indicate anything....it´s blurry, it´s from a far and and could not see the front or cockpit sides ...


Well and Emirates seems to have found a better place in Honda to pump their money into

A little update....





New images reveal the extent of Vodafone's deal with McLaren Mercedes. One photo, depicting Pedro de la Rosa at the wheel of this year's MP4-21 car running behind closed doors at Jerez, shows the silver racer with red sidepods and white logos in deference to the new title sponsorship with former Ferrari backer Vodafone.

A band of red colour also runs down the spine of the single seater's engine cover, while - according to Bild newspaper - the rear wing, now a similarly deeper shade of red than this season, will boast the name 'Vodafone' in 2007 rather than that of Emirates.


McLaren's Vodafone backing is worth upwards of $57m, the German daily tabloid added.


Mercedes-Benz's competition director Norbert Haug, however, denied that the new livery means that the familiar 'Silver Arrows' would fade in 2007.

"No," he insisted. "The Silver Arrows has never been more alive! The colour silver will be prominent also on the 2007 car."

The MP4-22 will be unveiled officially at Valencia in January.

Looks OK but has some major flaws...

1.) Siemens won´t be sponsoring in 2007. They will pull out of DTM where they were with Audi and also from Formula One with McLaren Mercedes

2.) Johnnie Walker is missing totally on the car

3.) Santander won´t be on the Rear Wing... it´s more likely to take the place Siemens was on. Vodafone will be on the RearWing

4.) the new Sponsor Mutua Madrilena is missing.

That isn't the final 2007 car, is only the mp4-21 with a vodafone logo replace Johnnie walker for a Vodafone advert.Mclaren shows the final livery and car 14th January at Valencia.

Exactly!! as I said before... FICTIONAL!!! not the real one!!!

In my opinion there will be major changes to the MP4-22 aerodinamical parts because they are releasing it so quick that they would have much time to make upgrades so the version that will be on Melburne will look different from show off and I thik that there will be also changes after the show off to the Melburne in livery!

Other version of my is that this is just livery for tests, like orange version pervious seasons. And creating this version is caused by Vodofane (Mayby they just want that their advert would be seen eariler so Mclaren just added it to sidepots and didn't made any big changes because it's not final). Thats only my opinion

That car is the MP4-21.

Yeah, i know it! If you remember the MP4-20 with chrome mayby this is the same...
