heh ok I will stop comparisons here I have both games and both are great but ...still I like gp4 more we will see if that will change in a near future

for those making comparisons gp4 vs rfactor, can someone please put an unedited shot of gp4 vs an unedited shot of rfactor, with the same car, same position on track... cos what i notice is most godo gp4 shots are only like that cos they are edited, while most rfactor shots are unedited, plus for some reason in gp4 to get a great shot you have to stop the car on track and position it :P lol

i would do this comparison, but my rfactor installation is broken, and i cant get it to work anymore, i will have to reformat my harddrive first.

Some screens from a great online race I had in the ESL UK league. Race pace was about 3:21.xxx if I remember correctly and it was a 10 lap race mandotory pit stop. I started on pole and held onto the lead for the first 5 laps.

Jack managed to get a run on me in the fast right hander

Towards the end of the lap Jack defends the line while I try to set myself up for a good exit ... in the end he pitted on lap 6 releasing me.

I set my fastest sector times of the race but was forced to take to the pits to avoid DQ as I was on the final lap of the pit window

I emerged from the pits to my delight in the lead :D

But by the time I got down to T1 the speed difference was too much for me to hold off Dave

Nose to tail the battle for the lead was hotting up with only 3 laps to go and no more pitstops to be made, the overtaking was going to have to be done on the track

Calm and relaxed in the cockpit of my car(not really, I was staring at a chance of my first ever ESL Uk league race win )

Dave defended the corner before but was out of place for the next so I tried to set myself up for a good exit...

but Dave caught the grass and had to take to it to avoid spinning, slowing me down and giving Jack a good run on me.

Pretty cool shot of me looking left to see where Jack is :D, didn't come out as well as I wanted though

Trying to hang on in the fast corner...

me and Jack touch as we both run wide on the exit of a corner letting Dave catch me and caught me by surprise as he dived down the inside. I was forced wide leaving the door wide open...

through goes Neal and thats me down to 4th from 2nd...

the disapointment continues when I lost another place but managed to get a good slipstream and take the place back around the outside into the fast left-right corner combo...

Only to lose the position on the last lap when I ran wide hitting cones and getting dirt on my tires

Last chance into the final chicane and I'm keeping a good line for a good run out of the final part of the chicane.

He sees it coming and slows me down in the middle of the corner and killing my speed.

In the end finished a disapointing 5th but don't care, was a fantastic 34mins of racing.

Just noticed the lack of shaddows, doh! My computer is crap so all details are turned down while racing to get max FPS so it seems when I turned things up I fogot to turn shaddows on.

really?,no need to position cars on track if you get some decent cameras, and i stopped editing my shots ages ago
