Steve doesn't have to show anything. In fact if I was him I'd probably not even post anything and just release it when it's done, but I'm petty like that :P. Just be grateful it's being done at all, not least by someone like Steve who clearly gets better with each car he does.

I totally agree with u nick, buttttt....... if ur gonna create this thread in th efirst place you should show some WIP as imo creating this thread, I thought he was gonna post some regular updates, if thats not the case why bother with a thread in the frist place, just my opinion though

No screenshots posted yet, as I feel there would be more discussion about unecessary elements at the moment, that are to be finished. Once I have something to show, that will give an indication of the car, I'll post some.

Expect some shots soon, before I map.

I posted this, to give an indication of what's going on, I never said there would be a stream of WIP shots available.

Hello,
Right, the shape is done, just finishing the front wing/rear wing and suspension.
All else is fairly complete.

Will post some shots in the next few days, for interest.

All that I will say, is that I've managed to create what I consider to be good detail using far fewer polys than the FW27.

All comments have been taken into consideration and hopefully most people will be fairly pleased with the shape (note I don't say final shape!).

Again, it's taking so long as I am constantly trying to save polys and be as economical as possible, I re-made the wings 5 times today!

Yep, I think Steve is going about this in the right way, WIP shots tend to give the impression that a project is further along than it actually is to someone who doesn't know what work is involved.
