GP4 &Sims Screenshots 2006 v1

Nice battle ya got going there. How do you guys save your Jpegs, cos when i save mine sometimes they are a little blocky around the detail, and yours are smoooooth.

Where's LS when you need him

hmm which software do you use to make the jpegs? Check the re-size method. Different resizing methods will give different results. Also make sure the compression isnt too high as that will further distort the textures.

I just use photoshop, but to capture them i use FRAPS, or Print screen into paint.

Tasty looking render but whats with the grainy looking reflections near the sidepods?

Resize it yourself you lazy bugger :P

@Karan: I Turbosmoothed it, so it has approximately 16x more polies than it did, so that's probably what it is

Zep, just spend a bit more time deleting the damage faces, the result will be worth the work

Do you know how many renders I pump out a day?

No, and I'm happy I don't

But hey, I got 6 different williams to render, each car requires 50-60 min to be prepared and 30 min to render..

do that 6 times + other cars, and making my own scenes(learning a lot)

So concluding from that, I don't sit at my lazy butt neither

Well if we're going to start bragging about what we're doing :P

10 minutes to prepare a scene, averaging 12 minutes a render - aiming to catch up on my small backlog, I have to do approx 60 renders a day

I am also modelling things in max, which also takes up a lot of my time

Then I have a few tracks to work on, which takes up a few more hours of my day

Basically I have had a full day for the last 5 weeks :P
