I thought Indy was semi non-tabacco, seems brands sold in America can't advertise (Marlboro, Lucky Strike) but Sobranie and Mild Seven are okay to (I assume not sold in America).

the issues at Indy are that they only allow a single team to run a certain tobacco sponsorship. In Marlboro's case one of the IRL teams is already using Marlboro sponsorship therefore its used up. Same with Lucky Strike. However not so with Mild Seven,West etc. Therefore Renault and Mclaren are allowed to run full tobacco branding.
