1991mod -> fixing bugs <-

i`ve got suzuka and catalunya to go,then i`ll have run the williams on them all today,up to now i only noticed a problem at interlagos.

The problems with the wings are like these:

The mapping is perfect, all within the borders. The only thing I can think of is that the tga used for the wings is 512x512px while the others are in 1024x1024px. GP4 maps it like it's a 1024x1024px texture.

Since I don't have the problem anymore I can't really be sure. I did however recently changed my f1graphics.cfg. I've set reflect effect to 0. I know jpmfw uses that setting too, so could you please check your f1graphics.cfg? I will try out some settings as well.

It looks like I can fix it after all.

@erix,you beat me too it!!.i`ve been playing around with the .cfg,i think you might be right.i`ll turn reflect on and run at interlagos.

hehe looks like Patrese has run into someone and has lost his wing looking at that shot :P.

The mod is looking fantastic though! No way i thought we'd see cars like this for GP4 3 years ago when GP4 came out :O

i don`t have the wing problem at interlagos anymore,just taken this screen by the pitwall.

click the "configure" button below the text area in CSM and choose usa or brazil for Grand Prix. Choosing another will get you the B191.

Looks good to me, Richard. I've done a test myself but did not encounter the problem again... I will put the 512x512 texture on a 1024x1024 and create an update for the beta so you guys can retest it.

I think yu may be right. I changed my reflection settings and its fine now.

I dont mind people using my screenshots.

Or maybe you should give out an F!graphics.cfg with the game or soemthing if the problem persists.

there's also an option to include just one or more settings into the set, but i still have to document it :P
but that might be better. that way people can keep their own configs except only the necessary things are changed, so graphical glitches are reduced to a minimum.
