Does it still happen after you removed the sponsor? If it doesn't, make sure you didn't rename any textures inside 3D Ed as it tends to replicate and cause the graphics to go crazy either over the whole circuit or in a localised area

It looks good, have you edited the .col for the extra run-off areas? If not, I can rustle up something in a couple of hours if you send me the .gp4 :)

So this means it also has the lampert super reflection problem? :( So I will have to go back to original gp4 one instead :(

open up the gp4.file in 3d editor and uncheck the "self illuminating" box in a lot of the objects.

it only shows up when enabling dynamic reflections.

ifound this happened on canada and brazil 2004 tracks

unpack your track wad with wadupdater/easywad/gp4master.

open up the gp4.file that is inside your unpacked track wad with 3d editor.

each scene will have lots of objects, click on one of them and you should see a box come up.find "self illuminating" and uncheck it.

for some reason most of the other objects will uncheck themselves.

then save your gp4.file and repack your track wad.

sorry i cant be more detailed as i havent used 3d editor for quite a long time.

once youve unpacked your track wad e.g.montreal2001.wad,you will find it in the same folder as the tex files.

there is no such file as "gp4.file"

There are some .gp4 files though, do you mean them? :S there is:

montreal2001.gp4
flashend.gp4
flashendreflect.gp4
flashstart.gp4
flashstartreflect.gp4

so is it any of these? :S

You want montreal2001.gp4.

Rule of thumb, if it's got trackname2001.gp4 in it, that's the one you want, sod the other ones as they aren't used to any effect in my knowledge

okay, well, what do I do with it - what exactly are the so called objects? :S It better not be everything I can see cos there are millions of the things. All I want is for the cars not to be super shiny anymore :';( *sniff*

Also, I didn't see a "self illuminating" thing? :S :(

You have to do double click an object in one of the scenes (try one of the ones called TRACKxx or TRACK_verge) and then there will be a checkbox with self-illuminating next to it :)
